Our Lady of Grace Gift Shop

One June 24, 1981, in the mountain village of Medjugorje, Hercegovina, Our Lady appeared to six children. She identified herself as the Blessed Virgin, Queen of Peace, and has continued to appear to the young people every day. Her message is peace, peace with God and man. In Mary's own words to the children, "I have come to tell the world that God exists. He is the fullness of life, and to enjoy this fullness and obtain peace, you must return to God."

Messages are given by the Blessed Virgin to the visionaries. They are for the parish of St. James in Medjugorje and for the world.

These apparitions are not officially approved by the Church. The study of these happenings is directly under the Holy See. What makes these apparitions unique is the fact that they have been occurring daily for 34 years.

The visionaries receive many messages; some for themselves; some for priests; some for visiting groups and individuals. On the 25th of each month a special message is given to one of the visionaries (Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti) intended for the world.

"Dear children! While darkness and peacelessness rule in many hearts, you, little children, be prayer and my extended hands of love. Little children, place the Sacred Scripture in a visible place in your family and read it, so that it may be an encouragement for you to conversion and a new life; because Satan is strong and seduces hearts. Your hearts, through my maternal Heart, I desire to commend to the Heart of my Son Jesus, so that He, the Risen One, may reign in you and joy may begin to reign in you and around you. Thank you for having responded to my call."
